G Bear's Big Girl Bed

Addie has spent the last two nights in her BIG GIRL BED. We thought that since Hudson is now 6 months old he deserves to sleep in an actual crib. :-)

Redhawk Game with Cousins

Last night we met Bob, Berta and kids at the Redhawk game. I don't think the kids saw a single minute of the game. They spent the majority of the time running around and eating every snack available.

Hudson - 6 month check up

Hudson is 6 months already - where has the time gone! He had is 6 month checkup yesterday and here are his stats:

Height: 27.25 inches - 78%
Weight: 18 lbs 8 oz - 69%

Our peditrician has been watching one of his eyes for a couple of months thinking it might be a little "lazy". However, most of the time they correct themselves by 6-9 months. Yesterday she told me that I should probably just schedule an appt with an optometrist. She thinks because his is so minor it might correct itself with 1-2 weeks of eye drops. So, off to the optometrist we go tomorrow.

Our New Boat

Today was the first day out in our new boat! It was windy out so the water was VERY rough but we still had a great time. Alyson, Jay and Sam joined us for the day.

Hayden at Soccer

On Monday night after soccer I treated Hayden to ice cream at Cold Stone Creamy. Hayden figured out what to order so that his mom doesn't steal some - Cotten Candy with Peanut Butter Cups - YUCK!

Hayden - Catching Up with an Old Buddy

On Saturday Hayden had his old buddy Jacob over for the day. The two met in pre-school and are still great friends.

Alone Time w/Hayden

I did something Friday that I don't get to do often, spend alone time with Hayden. We had a great day - I picked him up right after lunch and we ran errands all afternoon. One of the places we went was the library to sign Hayden up for a library card. Hayden is 7 and I don't think he has ever been to a public library, very bad on my part. Anyway, he was thrilled and very excited to have a card of his own. He also read his 2 books in the van that afternoon so time to go back already. That evening Hayden and I then went to the movie, we opted for Shrek since it was opening night for Toy Story.
