Hayden and the neighbor boy offered to shovel our driveway today after the first snow. Ryan was gone this weekend so I thought it was a great idea. When they were done I gave them each $5. They got a quick drink and headed back outside. About an hour later they come back to tell me that the neighbor paid them $10 each to shovel his driveway and that next time I need to "pay them a little more". :-)

Hudson - Movin' and Shakin'
Santa
One of the main reasons I started this blog was to try to capture some of pictures and conversations of my kids while they are young. I thought the conversations I had with Addie today was worth adding to the blog.
Me: Hey Addie we should go visit Santa next week. Are you ready to tell him what you want for Christmas?
Addie: Yep! Fruit Loops and a toothbrush!
Wow, that makes shopping easy. The thing I love about 3 is that she would actually be excited if that is what she did get. If we could only bottle that excitement for the years to come.
Another conversation later in the day.....
Me: Addie, we should also get Ms. Amanda (her teacher) something for Christmas. Any idea what she likes or wants?
Addie: Yep! A baby and a toothbrush!
Can't wait to pass that along to her teacher. :-)
I will have to ask Hayden the same questions this week and note them. The boy already has his Christmas list of about 15 items and none as easy as Fruit Loops or a toothbrush.

Addie's Fashion
One of Addie's favorite thing to do these days is change her clothes. On weekends we typically see her go through about 5 outfits during the day. Below are just a couple recent outfits that I captured. The "G" shirt is a birthday gift from Aunt Alyson and has become a favorite! Ryan is all about nicknames and calls her "G" for her middle name Grace. And yes, those are tights in the top picture.
